Artist's Statement

The symbol on this page, the enso,  represents enlightenment, strength, and elegance, attributes I try to bring to my work. The incomplete circle embodies the Zen philosophy of beauty in imperfection and represents a moment when the mind is free to let the body create. I believe this is a great approach to the creative arts. Every body has imperfections, but it is through embracing these unique attributes, that we can achieve great art.
